AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant-type role to support clinical operations, prepare patients and equipment for procedures, and document results in the practice system. You will help maintain safety policies and ensure smooth office flow.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification with CMA/ RMA certifications may be expected. 1+ year of related work experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources.
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems.
• Ability to function in fast-paced environments and apply stress management techniques.
• Ability to work independently within scope of certification.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism.
• Clear English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
• Experience with computers.
