You will have access to 4 OR days and 4 endoscopy days per month, catering to a wide range of surgical needs.

Your foundational expertise in endoscopic procedures is crucial to our team. Besides your time at KBRH, your skills will be invaluable to Kootenay Lakes Hospital in Nelson, Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks’ Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care across the region.

Our close collaboration with the UBC Faculty of Medicine offers enriching opportunities to teach 3rd-year medical students. Currently seeking locum coverage for approx. 10 days per month from Nov 2025 to June 30 2026. Willing to be flexible depending on locum availability. This is Hospital Based On-Call Coverage (24 hr/ weekends)

The Rural Specialist Locum Program (RSLP) provides coverage for travel and accommodations when following program guidelines. Depending on journey length, physicians may earn up to $1,560 for travel time costs. The program also reimburses reasonable transportation and lodging expenses, as outlined in current policy terms.
