Job summary

Intermountain Health in Brighton, CO is seeking a Board-certified or eligible General Surgeon with trauma experience to join a patient-centered team at Platte Valley Hospital, a Level III trauma center. You will perform broad general surgery, manage acute care cases, participate in a 1:4 call schedule, and collaborate with an experienced team to deliver high-quality care in a community hospital setting.

A Colorado license and ATLS/ACLS are required; relocation and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited school and board eligibility or certification.
• ACGME residency in General Surgery with trauma exposure.
• Active Colorado medical license or eligibility to obtain one; ATLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Handle trauma activations within Level III scope and provide surgical coverage.
• Deliver broad general surgery and acute care services for inpatients and ED.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, including weekends.
