Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our surgical team in a patient-centered, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in upper GI and abdominal wall surgery, including hernia repair and esophageal/gastric procedures, with a preference for minimally invasive and robotic techniques. Fellowship training is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Experience in upper GI and abdominal wall surgery, including hernia repair and esophageal/gastric procedures preferred.
• Minimally invasive and robotic surgery experience highly desirable.
• Fellowship training welcomed but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-based care approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general surgical care within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Perform minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with gastroenterology, oncology, radiology, pathology, advanced practice providers, and other specialties to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient surgical care and contribute to the growth of the surgical program.
