Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks an experienced physician for hospital-based locum tenens coverage in Oklahoma. The position includes a 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time, serving the ED with 2–3 patient calls daily and performing laparotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and bowel obstruction surgeries.

Board-certified or eligible in surgery is required. Robotic surgery capability is available; Endoscopy skills are not required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in surgery.
• Locum-tenens hospital coverage experience preferred.
• On-call responsibilities with rapid response required.

Responsibilities

• Handle 2-3 patient calls daily from the ED.
• Perform laparotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and bowel obstruction procedures.
• Maintain 24-hour call coverage with a 30-minute response time.
