Job summary

Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a General Surgeon to join a small, established team anchored at one hospital. The role offers mentorship and the opportunity to perform robotically assisted surgery on-site using the daVinci system.

Board eligible or certified physicians with an MD or DO degree are preferred, with experience considered a plus. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified physicians are desired.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Robotic surgery training with daVinci on-site preferred.
• Willingness to cover a single hospital and participate in shared call.
• Mentorship available for incoming surgeon.

Responsibilities

• Join an established general surgery team at one hospital.
• Cover 1 hospital only with shared call.
• Participate in robot-assisted surgery on-site with daVinci.
• Mentorship for new surgeon joining the team.
• Maintain professional standards and patient care.
