Job description

Seeking fully trained U.S. board eligible/certified and licensed General Surgeons for full-time opportunities.

(Not a remote or telemedicine position. Various onsite positions throughout the world at military installations.)

Navy Medicine has an opportunity for you to serve full time as a General Surgeon. As a Navy physician you will enjoy an accelerated career track, while caring for the medical needs of the brave men and women who serve our country, their families and other eligible beneficiaries who have served. It is a great responsibility—and an honor—of the highest order. The rewards for meeting such challenges are, of course, also great.

Navy healthcare offers the ability to focus on the finer points of medicine in state-of-the-art facilities, without the financial and business complications of a private practice (i.e., start-up costs, malpractice insurance, staffing, equipment, office management, etc.).

You may also, take part in humanitarian relief efforts stateside and around the world collaborating with fellow military doctors and other healthcare professionals, while partnering with organizations, such as FEMA, USAID, and Project Hope.
