Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL seeks a General Surgeon to join a high-volume hospital-based practice focused on minimally invasive and robotic techniques. You will participate in elective and emergency cases, collaborating with oncology, gastroenterology, and critical care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency.
  • Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in MIS, Advanced GI, or comparable training is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic and/or robotic techniques in general surgery.
  • At least 5 years post-training experience.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Florida.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality surgical care.
  • Interest in academic surgery, teaching, and collaborative teamwork.

Job Description Summary

General Surgeon Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, FL

Job Responsibilities
  • Join a high-volume, hospital-based general surgery practice that provides comprehensive care for both elective and emergency general surgery patients.
  • Manage a wide spectrum of general surgical conditions, with emphasis on minimally invasive approaches to abdominal, hernia, biliary, GI, and acute care surgery.
  • Participate in an emergency general surgery service, including shared call coverage, with access to advanced technology and subspecialty support.
