Woman’s Hospital is seeking a BC/BE general surgeon to join our practice. Currently, our team includes one full-time general surgeon with supportive call coverage from a secondary physician group providing 1:4 call. All surgeries are performed at a single Magnet-designated hospital in Baton Rouge, a vibrant city with the amenities of a college town on the eastern bank of the Mississippi River. Our practice benefits from block scheduling and access to three Xi robotic systems. The surgeon will collaborate with over 60 OB/GYNs, GYN oncologists, and breast surgeons on campus. Our procedures include laparoscopic surgery, abdominal and soft tissue surgeries, endoscopy, hernia repair, thyroid surgery, and bariatrics. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Women’s Health and seeking a healthy work/life balance.
