Job summary

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Superintendent with a water background to lead field operations in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL region. Key responsibilities include coordinating schedules, mentoring field personnel, and ensuring quality and compliance. Travel up to 25% within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, including 10 years as a Superintendent.
• Proven success managing large, complex, multimillion-dollar projects.
• OSHA 10-hour, First Aid, and CPR certifications preferred.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and heavy equipment.

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced General Superintendent with Water background for the Palm Beach Gardens, FL area. The General Superintendent is responsible for leading all field operations for assigned business units and projects. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality execution while maintaining a skilled workforce and supporting self-perform operations. The General Superintendent partners closely with project leadership, preconstruction, and executive teams to manage risk, support project pursuits, and drive successful project outcomes.
