This opportunity offers direct collaboration with executive leadership, the autonomy to lead field operations, and the ability to help shape company-wide construction standards while developing the next generation of field leaders.
About the Role
The General Superintendent will oversee field operations across multiple active projects while leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of Superintendents.
The ideal candidate is an established General Superintendent with strong multifamily, mid-rise, or high-rise experience. - Oversee field operations and visit project sites throughout South Florida.
- Lead project startup, site logistics, field staffing, scheduling, safety, and subcontractor coordination.
- Establish consistent standards across quality control, documentation, scheduling, safety, and project closeout.
- Monitor project performance and help field teams resolve issues before they affect cost, schedule, or quality.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Superintendents at different experience levels.
- Help establish and implement field‑related SOPs and company‑wide construction standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, building officials, and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, Project Management, and Preconstruction.
- Remain actively involved in field operations while balancing oversight of multiple projects.

- Comprehensive knowledge of all trades and the full construction lifecycle.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects or job sites simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop other Superintendents.
- Strong knowledge of site logistics, scheduling, subcontractor management, safety, quality control, and closeout.
- Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, subcontractors, building officials, consultants, and executive leadership.
- Comfortable improving internal processes and helping establish consistent field standards.
- Willingness to remain hands‑on when needed rather than operating in a strictly administrative role.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between South Florida project sites.
Preferred Experience
- Established relationships within the South Florida subcontractor and building community.
- Affordable‑housing construction experience.
- Experience with structured technical training and established operating procedures.
- Experience developing SOPs and standardizing field operations across multiple project teams.
- Previous responsibility for multiple Superintendents and simultaneous projects.
