Job summary

L7 Construction, Inc. is seeking a seasoned General Superintendent to lead field operations across water and wastewater projects in Florida. You will mentor Superintendents and field crews, ensuring staffing, scheduling, safety and execution to L7 standards.

You will bridge office and field, drive continuous improvement, coordinate manpower, and maintain a high-performing team across multiple sites from St. Augustine to Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in water/wastewater construction, with field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater construction means and methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with office/field staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for field ops across all active projects.

Job Overview:

L7 Construction, Inc. is seeking a seasoned General Superintendent who will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of field operations across L7 water and wastewater construction projects. This candidate will support and lead all Superintendents and field personnel while ensuring projects are properly staffed, resourced, scheduled, and executed safely and to L7 standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced water/wastewater construction professional who combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership, communication, and people development skills. You enjoy coaching, growing and sharing lessons learned, communicating effectively between the office and the field all while making sure your teams are high performing, helping to motivate and maximize impact on the teams and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership, direction and oversight for field ops across all active L7 projects
• Lead, support and serve as a resource to all Project Superintendents and other field leadership personnel
• Maintain a company wide view of project execution, identifying potential issues, resource constraints, scheduling concerns, and staffing needs before they impact project performance
• Assist Superintendents in developing and executing manpower plans to ensure projects are properly staffed throughout project duration
• Monitor project schedules and work with Supers to identify opportunities to maintain or improve schedule performance
• Help establish consistent field processes, expectations and best practices across all L7 projects
• Conduct regular visits to active project sites to evaluate overall field operations, support Superintendents and maintain awareness of project conditions
• Ensure Field Ops are aligned with company goals, project requirements, and commitment to clients
• Provide leadership, mentorship, coaching and accountability to field personnel and Superintendents
• Provide expert oversight on coordination of all projects, assisting with staffing and manpower planning, equipment, pushing schedules and reviewing labor budgets, quality control and safety
• Promote consistent communication and collaborations between projects and departments

Qualifications:

• Experience running w/ww projects and field teams
• 15+ years of experience majority in the Water/Wastewater industry strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater construction means and methods, including experience with projects involving multiple trades and specialized infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and support multiple Superintendents and project teams simultaneously
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, resource planning, labor budgets, quality control, safety and project execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both field and office personnel
• Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor and lead
• Ability to travel regularly between all job sites, between St. Augustine to Melbourne
• Osha 30 hour certification preferred
