We are looking for a proven construction leader with the experience, judgment, and organizational ability to oversee large and complex projects while serving as a subject-matter expert in construction operations.

The Opportunity

The General Superintendent will provide senior-level leadership for major construction projects in the San Antonio market, partnering closely with Operations Managers, Construction Executives, Project Executives, Superintendents, Foremen, trade partners, and project management teams.

  • Develop and oversee project logistics plans, construction schedules, and operational strategies
  • Review project schedules and ensure critical activities and Required-On-Job (ROJ) dates remain on track
  • Conduct weekly production reviews to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and establish recovery plans
  • Monitor production goals and field performance to ensure alignment with the overall project plan
  • Identify and document risks affecting budget, quality, schedule, or project execution
  • Oversee implementation of the project's Quality Control (QC) program
  • Partner with EH&S leadership to implement and maintain the project's Safety Program
  • Provide operational input during preconstruction, pursuits, estimating, and project planning
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, Project Executives, and Operations leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance project delivery
  • Develop, mentor, and lead high-performing Superintendent and field leadership teams
  • Build strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners
  • Provide decisive leadership and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
