  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall field leadership and direction for large-scale electrical construction projects.
  • Oversee Electrical Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Establish and maintain project execution strategies, manpower plans, schedules, and production goals.
  • Coordinate electrical construction activities with project management, general contractors, owners, engineers, and other trades.
  • Monitor daily field operations to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and to schedule.
  • Review project schedules and identify potential delays, manpower requirements, material needs, and field constraints.
  • Drive accountability for productivity, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
  • Coordinate installation of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, equipment, controls, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Participate in project planning, sequencing, constructability reviews, and scheduling meetings.
  • Ensure electrical work is installed in accordance with drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.
  • Manage field coordination, material flow, equipment requirements, and workforce allocation.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or cost.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, project partners, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability across the project.
  • Support commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout activities as required.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project progress, manpower, schedule, safety, and field conditions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Superintendent to provide senior field leadership for large-scale, complex electrical construction projects supporting TSMC's advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the Phoenix market.

This is a high-level field leadership position responsible for directing electrical construction operations, managing multiple field teams and subcontractors, coordinating with project management and other trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedule, quality, and client expectations.

The ideal candidate is a proven electrical construction leader with significant experience overseeing large, complex projects and the ability to lead Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel in a highly demanding mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall field leadership and direction for large-scale electrical construction projects.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of electrical construction experience, with significant experience in senior field leadership.
  • Proven experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, or similar senior field leadership role.
  • Strong background with large-scale commercial, industrial, semiconductor, data center, manufacturing, healthcare, or other mission-critical electrical construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large electrical field teams and multiple Superintendents/Foremen.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction means and methods, sequencing, manpower planning, and field coordination.
  • Experience working on projects with aggressive schedules and complex coordination requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety requirements, construction standards, and applicable codes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effective with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management technology.
  • Ability to work full‑time on‑site and operate effectively in a fast‑paced construction environment.
