Job summary

Evermont Group in the United States is hiring a General Superintendent for industrial/design-build construction projects nationwide. You will lead field operations, manage Superintendents, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safe, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple sites.

Candidates should have 15+ years in commercial construction with GC background and strong industrial project leadership; willingness to travel across the US is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or similar.
• Majority of experience with a General Contractor.
• Industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage or food processing experience required.
• Design-build experience would be a plus.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or multiple Superintendents preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the US.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing field operations across multiple industrial and commercial projects.
• Managing Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, field teams, and trade partners.
• Driving site performance across safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and manpower.
• Working closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, Safety, Preconstruction, and senior leadership.
• Supporting early planning, constructability, site logistics, sequencing, and field execution strategy.
• Keeping project teams aligned on progress, priorities, risks, and upcoming milestones.
• Maintaining strong communication with owners, architects, inspectors, consultants, and trade partners.
• Holding teams accountable to company standards, client expectations, and project goals.
• Supporting closeout, turnover, and client satisfaction.
• Mentoring Superintendents and helping maintain consistent field standards across the business.

General Superintendent – Industrial / Design-Build Construction

Up to $250,000 base DOE + benefits

A well-established national design-build General Contractor is hiring a General Superintendent to support major industrial project work across the US.

This is with a 100% employee-owned GC with a strong national presence, regional offices across several key markets, and a long-standing focus on industrial, commercial, healthcare, cold storage, manufacturing, adaptive reuse, interiors, and multi-building campus projects.

The company is looking for a proven field leader who can take ownership of field operations, support project teams, manage Superintendents, maintain site standards, and help deliver work safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

This role is best suited to someone who has come through a true General Contractor background, has strong industrial project experience, and understands what it takes to lead field teams across complex projects.

Candidates must be open to travel to project sites across the US, depending on project needs. Strong job tenure and a stable career history are important for this role.

What we’re looking for:

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience
• Previous experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, Area Superintendent, or similar
• Majority of experience must be with a General Contractor
• Industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage or food processing experience required
• Design-build experience would be a plus
• Experience overseeing multiple projects or multiple Superintendents preferred
• Strong understanding of schedules, sequencing, logistics, QA/QC, safety, inspections, subcontractor coordination, and site operations
• Ability to work closely with both field and office leadership
• Good client-facing skills and the ability to represent the business professionally on site
• Good job tenure and a stable career history
• Open to travel to project sites across the US
