Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greet customers.
• Inform customers about products and services.
• Establish or identify prices of goods.
• Apply price stickers and scan merchandise.
• Calculate total prices.
• Assist in developing window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
• Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
• Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving shipments and confirm invoices.
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
• Control and check outgoing merchandise.
• Reconcile payments with sales totals and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness in checkout areas, stock rooms, and store.
• Follow company controls and procedures.
• Stay attentive in busy environments.
• Participate in inventory counts monthly or quarterly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prioritize workload effectively.
• Remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Be versatile and participate in various activities as needed.
