Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker
Reports to: General Manager
General Responsibilities:
- Greet customers.
- Inform customers about products and services.
- Establish or identify prices of goods.
- Apply price stickers and scan merchandise.
- Calculate total prices.
- Assist in developing window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager.
- Keep stock rooms organized and clean.
- Interact professionally and friendly with customers.
- Encourage sales and promote the Memphis experience.
- Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
- Check inventory upon receiving shipments and confirm invoices.
- Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally.
- Control and check outgoing merchandise.
- Reconcile payments with sales totals and prepare deposits.
- Maintain cleanliness in checkout areas, stock rooms, and store.
- Follow company controls and procedures.
- Stay attentive in busy environments.
- Participate in inventory counts monthly or quarterly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Prioritize workload effectively.
- Remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Be versatile and participate in various activities as needed.

- Organized in storage, displays, and stock areas.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to speak and hear.
- Good vision, including color recognition.
- Frequent walking and standing for long periods.
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Use manual dexterity and motor skills frequently.
- Able to reach, kneel, and stoop repeatedly.
