Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring Full-Time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis in the Hampton, VA area. You’ll perform essential tire and maintenance services, working with experienced automotive professionals to develop hands-on skills and grow your automotive career.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
Performing flat tire repairs.
Completing oil and filter changes.
Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Following established safety and service procedures.
Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
