Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Southington service and tire center. You’ll perform essential maintenance and tire services while learning from experienced automotive professionals.

Paid training is provided, and we offer competitive weekly pay with a weekly incentive, plus medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) with match. No prior automotive experience required, but reliability and safety mindset are a must.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
