Job summary

PNW Automotive is seeking an entry‑level General Service Technician to join our independent repair shop. This role offers hands‑on learning, a four‑day workweek, and weekend freedom, with a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You’ll start with basic mechanical tasks, learn shop processes, and grow into more advanced technician work while contributing to vehicle inspections, oil changes, and safe operation of lifts. A valid driver's license and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, and some light experience.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocol adherence.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes.
• Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and moving customer vehicles.
• Properly positioning vehicles on lifts.
• Performing thorough vehicle inspections.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and correcting fluid levels and tire pressures.
• Taking clear inspection photos and documenting findings.
• Assisting technicians with basic service and repair tasks.
• Keeping service bays, tools, vehicles, and shared work areas clean and organized.
• Helping the front office with vehicle flow, keys, parts, and customer shuttles as needed.
• Following established safety procedures and shop processes.
