Job summary

The Rustic Wrench in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join a busy, professional shop. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience and the chance to advance your skills.

Requires 3+ years experience; ASE preferred but not required. You’ll diagnose vehicles, perform complex repairs, and clearly explain findings to customers and staff. Pay range is $70,000–$170,000 annually, with weekdays, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Hiring Technicians with 3 years or more experience.
• Prefer ASE certifications but not required; experience and skill set are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs complex and heavy‑duty repairs.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi‑point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition and properly documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

We are a very busy independent but professional auto repair shop looking for a professional technician to join our tight knit team.

We have a high car count, so technicians consistently see high volume of vehicles, ensuring a steady flow of work. This environment is ideal for those who want to develop their skills and enjoy a rewarding, hands‑on experience.

Schedule: 10‑hour shift, Monday‑Friday (no weekends)

Work Location: In person
