Job Description

The General Service Technician is responsible for providing quality service and vehicle repair in a timely manner. This role supports the company's mission and core values while contributing to team success.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks
2. Provide tire care, including installation, repair, and rotation
3. Inspect and top off engine fluids
4. Lubricate frontend parts as needed
5. Perform vehicle inspections following a checklist for potential issues such as belts, hoses, brakes, etc.
6. Move and operate customer vehicles into and out of service bays
7. Maintain positive customer relationships
8. Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and management
9. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and functional
10. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
11. Represent the organization professionally, projecting trust, honesty, and respect

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

1. A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
2. One or more years of experience in basic car care (helpful but not necessary)
3. A customer-focused attitude and ability to work well in a team
4. Mechanical inclination
5. Valid driver’s license
6. Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strong customer service skills and a desire to build trust and relationships
9. Willingness to work Saturdays

• Prolonged standing, stooping, and bending
