Shakopee Midas is looking for 2 Full Time Lube/General Service Techs. Top Pay and Benefits for the right person! Perfect opportunity for the right entry level person. We are a full-service, family-owned shop. New Air-Conditioned facility. We service most all makes and most services. Looking for an energetic, personable entry level/apprentice tech. We offer 5-day work week, paid PTO, health insurance, holiday pay, employee discounts, training, tool insurance, clean shop and friendly atmosphere. Teamwork, flexibility and adaptation is important. Excellent communications skill important. Immediate placement, competitive wages for the right person. Must possess valid driver's license. We supply major shop equipment, must have own hand tools and commonly use specialty tools. Veteran friendly employer!

Responsibilities

As a Midas general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes, brake service, alignment and suspension service
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires
• Changing bulbs, belts and hoses
• Maintaining and cleaning shop areas
• Other shop maintenance items as needed

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have basic knowledge of automotive mechanics
• Basic knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
