Position Overview

The General Service Technician provides quality vehicle service and repairs efficiently, adhering to the company's mission and core values, contributing to team success.

Primary Responsibilities

• Change oil and filters in cars and light trucks
• Install, repair, and rotate tires
• Inspect and top off engine fluids
• Lubricate frontend parts as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections for potential issues (belts, hoses, brakes, etc.)
• Move and operate customer vehicles into and out of service bays
• Maintain positive customer relationships
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and management
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience in basic car care is helpful but not required
• Customer-focused with teamwork skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug test and background check
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Willingness to work Saturdays

Physical Requirements
