Job summary

American Automobile Association in Mesa, AZ, seeks a team member to perform oil changes, tire repairs, and basic repairs, supporting senior technicians. You’ll drive vehicles for test and verification, keep the work area safe and organized, and participate in ongoing training and inspections.

The ideal candidate has an automotive/mechanical background, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to learn through continuing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months’ experience in general repair, lube services or tire shop preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and lubrication service for vehicles.
• Perform tire repairs and installation service.
• Perform minor repairs as assigned; assist senior technicians.
• Test drive vehicles to verify drivability and repairs before completion.
• Retest drives after repairs to confirm resolution of defined problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper shop housekeeping.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions; complete required training.
• Document digital inspections with photos/videos and ensure parts orders are correct.
