About The Role:

Compensation: $17-$19 Hourly Rate

The General Service Technician role involves both front counter and back shop responsibilities, including at least two days per week at the front. Responsibilities include vehicle repairs and maintenance, communicating effectively with guests, and supporting sales and store atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs per company standards, including tire services, oil changes, basic maintenance, and battery testing.
2. Complete Courtesy Inspections on every guest vehicle, identifying and communicating additional needs.
3. Assist in inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and guest readiness.
4. Perform services safely, adhering to safety standards and policies, including road testing vehicles when required.
5. Operate and maintain equipment safely, assist in guest care, work order completion, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
