**Job Description**
The General Service Technician role is full-time or part-time and is an hourly position based on the needs of the business. The technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role involves delivering exceptional 5-star service by effectively communicating vehicle issues and proposed solutions, ensuring guest expectations for time and quality are met.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently according to Monro standards.
2. Perform tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting, and TPMS service.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrication, basic maintenance, and battery testing and installation.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying and communicating additional needed services.
5. Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading, and stocking inventory.
6. Maintain store cleanliness and ensure it is guest-ready.
7. Perform services safely in accordance with Monro’s safety standards and procedures.
8. Test drive vehicles following Monro’s policies, observing traffic and safety laws.
9. Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety regulations.
10. Maintain technical proficiency through training and courses.
11. Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts and welders.
12. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
