About The Role

Compensation: $17-20 per hour.

The role involves both front counter and shop responsibilities, including vehicle repairs, maintenance, and customer communication. As a key holder and manager on duty when needed, you will help deliver a superior guest experience, promote sales, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle services and repairs according to standards, including tire services and basic vehicle maintenance.
2. Complete Courtesy Inspections, identify additional service needs, and communicate effectively with guests.
3. Assist with inventory management and store cleanliness.
4. Follow safety standards during all procedures and test drives.
5. Maintain technical knowledge through training and operate equipment safely.
6. Support guest care, work order completion, and store operations as needed.
7. Perform opening and closing duties as a secondary key holder.
8. Communicate product and service information to guests.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Automotive training or experience in basic maintenance and repair.
3. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR; ability to conduct test drives.
4. Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Work in an automotive shop with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and dust. Must be able to work flexible hours, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical activities like standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
