Job Description:

The General Service Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly, based on business needs. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications, delivering exceptional guest service, and communicating vehicle issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services, including wheel removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrication, basic maintenance, and battery testing/installation.
4. Complete Courtesy Inspections on every vehicle, documenting and communicating additional needed services.
5. Assist in inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and guest readiness.
6. Follow safety standards and test drive vehicles following company policies.
7. Adhere to all company policies, governmental standards, and safety procedures.
8. Maintain technical knowledge through training and operate equipment safely.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair.
3. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
4. Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
