What You’ll Do:

The General Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales aspects of the Remarketing Department, moderate administrative functions, and inventory purchasing.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the Sales Team on a day-to-day basis, including:
    • Retail sales
    • Pricing
    • Inventory purchasing
    • Address after-sale issues
  • Directly supervise Sales Managers and Salespeople including:
    • Training
    • Discipline
    • Career progression
  • Responsible for the financial results of the Remarketing Department, including:
    • Gross Profit per unit
    • Net Profit at the branch and department levels
    • Minimizing Loss and maximizing Revenue
    • Stays closely aware of dealership needs and client experiences
    • Identifies areas of improvement and recommends changes in policy or procedure when necessary to improve efficiency and profitability
    • Oversees implementation of short and long-term plans, projects and campaigns
    • Establishes and communicates goals with salespeople that support the company’s overall initiatives
    • Builds cohesive synergy between the sales and operations teams and provides an environment that enables performance

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

    • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and speed

    Compensation:

    • $135,000-$150,000 annual salary depending on skills and experience
