Job summary

OHSU in Hillsboro seeks a general radiologist to join the Community Division. You will read CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies and perform light procedures such as drainages, biopsies, arthrograms, and joint injections. You will cover Hillsboro hospital and imaging center in a shift-based 1.0 FTE role with equal call across the team.

Board-certified radiologist eligible to practice in Oregon is required. ABR board status and residency completion are needed; IMG candidates must have ECFMG

Qualifications

  • Board-certified radiologist with eligibility to practice in Oregon.
  • Experience reading CT, US, and MRI.
  • Experience with light general radiology procedures including drainages/biopsies, arthrograms, joint injections, and breast biopsies.
  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible; completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency; IMG candidates must have ECFMG certification and be ABR Board Certified/Eligible.
  • Candidates at all levels including residents or fellows are encouraged to apply.

  • Collaborate with subspecialty radiologists and a physician assistant for procedures.
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a suburban community-based radiology setting.

Job description

  • Join the Community Division of OHSU as a general radiologist at Hillsboro Medical Center
  • Provide general radiology services in a direct hospital-employed position
  • Read cases across CT, ultrasound, MRI, and other radiology modalities
  • Perform light general radiology procedures, including drainages, biopsies, arthrograms, and joint injections
  • Participate in a shift-based practice with a target of 180 shifts per year for a 1.0 FTE radiologist
  • Cover one hospital and one imaging center in Hillsboro
  • Participate in equally distributed call, prorated for FTE, including weekend call shifts
  • Collaborate with subspecialty-trained radiologists and a physician assistant for procedures
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a suburban community-based radiology practice
Requirements
  • Board-certified radiologist
  • Experience reading all radiology modalities, including CT, US, and MRI
  • Experience with light general radiology procedures such as CT- and ultrasound-guided drainages/biopsies, arthrograms/joint injections, and breast biopsies
  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Eligible to practice in Oregon
  • International Medical Graduates must hold valid ECFMG certification and be ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program
  • Candidates at all levels of practice, including those currently undertaking residency or fellowship training, are encouraged to apply
