Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Department of Diagnostic Radiology seeks a subspecialized MSK radiologist to join a six-member MSK imaging team, with dedicated teaching and academic opportunities. The role includes general MSK imaging, MRI/CT, ultrasound, and a mix of in-person and home-based work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general MSK radiographs, MRI and CT (sports, oncology, rheumatology).
  • Conduct diagnostic MSK ultrasound and participate in interdisciplinary conferences.
  • Perform fluoroscopy-, CT-, and ultrasound-guided interventions (spine and extremity biopsies, radiofrequency ablations, joint injections).
  • Maintain a high clinical volume with call responsibilities, including home-based work 50% of the time; no overnight call.

Attending Radiologist, MSK Section | Hybrid | No Overnight Call | 100% MSK

Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Department of Diagnostic Radiology is seeking a well‑trained, subspecialized radiologist to join an MSK imaging team dedicated to outstanding patient care, resident and fellow teaching, and academic excellence. The current practice consists of six core MSK faculty members (all Society of Skeletal Radiology members and one International Skeletal Society member) and two MSK fellows per year.

The Position
  • Clinical responsibilities include general MSK radiographs; MRI and CT (sports, oncology, rheumatology); diagnostic MSK ultrasound; and participation in interdisciplinary conferences
  • High procedural volume, including fluoroscopy‑, CT‑, and ultrasound‑guided interventions such as spine and extremity biopsies, osteoid osteoma radiofrequency ablations, and joint injections
  • Approximately 50% of clinical work and call responsibilities are performed from home, with the remainder onsite at the main hospital; no overnight call
  • At least one academic day per week, with additional time based on departmental roles and responsibilities
  • Optional moonlighting opportunities available for interested faculty

Qualifications

Required:

  • ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Eligible to practice in Oregon
  • International Medical Graduates encouraged to apply if they also hold:
    • Valid ECFMG certification + ABR BC or BE through the ABR IMG Alternate Pathway Program

Preferred:

  • Academic experience or interest
  • Current Fellows, all levels of candidates with fellowship training and/or faculty experience in Abdominal/Body Imaging encouraged to apply
