Aerotek in Damascus, GA is seeking a General Production Worker / Forklift Operator to support material handling, packing, and machine operation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a sit-down forklift, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to lift and move materials, and a commitment to safety. This contract-to-hire position offers overtime opportunities and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand basic machinery and production processes.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, moving, and handling materials throughout the shift.
• Background in general labor, production, or assembly work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.

• Carry out general labor duties, including packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Use mechanical aptitude to identify simple issues with equipment or materials and report them promptly.
• Accurately follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Participate in inventory-related activities, such as moving and organizing stock, as directed.
