About the Position

Packaging Associates are responsible for packaging and palletizing customer displays for shipment across the US. Your role includes conducting final quality inspections and preparing items for delivery to retail stores.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Palletize cases, pack units in master cartons, and apply labels as needed.
2. Perform rework as required.
3. Conduct Quality Assurance inspections.
4. Assist Material Handlers when needed.
5. Monitor product coding and report issues to QA.
6. Operate case packing equipment.
7. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping work areas and removing trash.
8. Manage waste and bale cardboard as necessary.
9. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety protocols.
10. Adhere to Safety and Health Rules.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with up to one year of related experience or training. Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Basic math skills are required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, bend, sit, and perform repetitive hand movements. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing ladders or stairs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: $14.00 per hour.
