Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a General Production associate to support a high-volume manufacturing operation in Grand Haven, MI. You will produce and assemble parts, inspect quality, and record production data using Plex software.

Role requires working off shifts with regular overtime, including a seven-day summer schedule. The environment is hot at times and safety and LEAN/5S standards are emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lb repeatedly.
• Basic computer skills for Plex or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and assembly of parts safely and per policies.
• Operate welding, press, mill, and assembly processes to maintain production.
• Conduct visual and gauge inspections to separate good vs defective parts.
• Pack parts into containers per standards and instructions.
• Use Plex for tagging and production data recording.
• Adhere to 5S and LEAN standards to keep work area organized and safe.
• Share quality, safety, and productivity ideas within the team.
• Train co-workers on manufacturing and production skills as required.
• Communicate production issues to prevent downtime.
• Notify leadership of equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Work overtime as required, including seven days a week during summer.
