New Pig in Duncansville is seeking a Production Associate I, General Laborer for 1st shift (7am-3pm). The role involves assembly, filling and packaging products, and maintaining quality standards.

Employees will perform checks, enter data into the system, and participate in process improvements while upholding safety and company policies. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Capable of basic math and using a computer.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary for shifts and production needs.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred and valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, filling and packaging tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to quality standards and adjust processes to meet them.
• Conduct quality checks and record quality data as needed.
• Enter production quantities and material usage into a computer system.
• Handle other production duties and participate on process improvement teams.
• Follow New Pig safety, environmental, and quality policies.
• Support a positive work environment and communicate promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific to Position

• Perform department operation procedures that may include assembly, filling and packaging products
• Adhere to and meet quality standards, as well as adjust the process to meet quality standard if necessary
• Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed
• Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system
• Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed
• Actively participate on the process improvement team
• Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

General

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform math functions

• Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Must demonstrate a commitment to all tasks assigned
