New Pig is seeking a Production Associate I, General Laborer for the Duncansville facility on a 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Responsibilities include assembling, filling and packaging products, ensuring quality, collecting data, and entering production figures into our systems.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to standards, and teamwork. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic math, and computer familiarity.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Production Associate I, General Laborer

Duncansville, 3rd Shift, 11pm-7am

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific to Position:

• Perform department operation procedures that may include assembly, filling and packaging products
• Adhere to and meet quality standards, as well as adjust the process to meet quality standards if necessary
• Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed
• Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system
• Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed
• Actively participate on the process improvement team
• Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

General:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform math functions
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Capable of producing all products to standard rate
• Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Must demonstrate a commitment to all tasks assigned
• Willing to share input to improve manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with basic computer use
• Ability to work overtime when necessary
• Manufacturing experience preferred

$18.00/hr. + $1.50/hr shift differential - Paychecks weekly. Overtime opportunities available. Sun evening-Fri morning schedule.
