Job summary

Caviness Beef Packers is seeking General Production team members to help keep our beef processing lines moving with speed, accuracy, and pride so customers receive a consistent, quality product every day. This on-site role supports multiple departments and requires adherence to safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Beef industry experience is required or preferred.
• Knife skills are preferred.
• Ability to work the complete shift assigned.

Responsibilities

• Trimming to remove defects, removing contamination, and taking off fat.
• Keeping tools ready—sharpening your knife and using equipment like.
• Use of other equipment such as air knifes, saw, wizard knife etc
• Conditions can change by department: wet and humid zones, warmer areas, or extreme cold in freezers.
• Repetitive work and fast paced
• Food Safety, quality and workplace safety must be followed at all times

Caviness Beef Packers has been family owned and operated for over 60 Years and is currently led by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. Since 1962, Caviness has remained one of the most relationship oriented companies in the beef industry. The business has grown from harvesting a handful of cattle, in the early days, to 2900 head processed each day. Today, the company operates two processing locations and markets products worldwide.

Monday-Friday schedules and some Saturdays when needed;

Start times vary by A or B shift depending on the department being hired for.

Production (labor)

As a General Production team member, you help keep our beef processing lines moving with speed, accuracy, and pride-so customers get a consistent, quality product every day.
