Job summary

Bell and Evans is seeking a General Production – 1st Shift in Fredericksburg, PA, to perform direct labor duties in a high-volume poultry facility. The role requires cooperation with teams, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in hot, cold and noisy environments.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and capable of lifting up to 40 pounds while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Perform job duties according to safety, quality and processing speeds.
• At least 18 year of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to work in a variety of conditions, hot, cold, wet and noisy.
• Willing and able to work around industrial equipment, stand for several hours, lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds, repetitive use of the arms, wrists and hands.
• Although typically assigned a single department, production and staffing needs will dictate periodic changes. All applicants must be willing and able to work in other departments and positions as needed and assigned.
• Strong work history, demonstrated ability to dedicate to a job.
• Previous poultry production experience OR previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 6-12 months of work history required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.
