Job summary

Experience Champaign Urbana is looking for candidates for a manufacturing position focused on door production in Rantoul, Illinois. The role includes operating machines, maintaining quality standards, staging products for delivery, and general warehouse duties. Preferred candidates will have experience in commercial woodworking and a solid understanding of building materials. Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Ability to operate small and large machines in production.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection and material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Operate small and large machines in the production of doors.
  • Work on the door assembly line building doors.
  • Inspect all product for quality.
  • Machining doors for hardware installation.
  • Material preparation and handling.
  • Staging and packaging finished product for delivery.
  • Other general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following safety rules.

Skills

Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
General knowledge of building materials
Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
