Riverside Mfg LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a GENERAL PRODUCTION worker for regular full-time manual labor. You will assemble and inspect parts, set up jobs, and work with basic equipment to meet quality standards.

This position requires prior manufacturing assembly experience and familiarity with lean concepts. Shift is Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, with duties spanning production, quality checks, and collaboration with co-workers.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
• Must be US Person per ITAR Standard.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts.

• Operate and monitor basic equipment, verify tolerances and test parts.

• Comply with work instructions, safety policies and conduct standards.
• Assist co-workers and work in other departments as production demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.

• Assemble and produce quality parts
• Set up jobs, including but not limited to, getting materials and parts, positioning work area, and setting parameters as needed to perform tasks.
• Perform repetitive tasks to assemble parts, including but not limited to, connecting parts, loading and unloading equipment, attaching labels, and packing parts.
• Operate and visually monitor basic equipment to assemble parts along with verifying tolerances and product specifications. Test and calibrate parts.
• Identify units that fail quality tests or tolerance levels and notify proper personnel as required.
• Perform 1st-piece and in-process inspections
• Comply with all work instructions, safety policies, and standards of conduct.
• Performs other duties as assigned including assisting co-workers as needed and working in other departments depending on production demands.

QUALIFICATIONS
