Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate and visually monitor equipment; verify tolerances and product specs.
• Identify units failing quality tests and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct 1st-piece and in-process inspections.
• Follow work instructions, safety policies, and conduct standards.
• Assist co-workers and work in other departments as needed.

GENERAL PRODUCTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble and produce quality parts
• Set up jobs, including but not limited to, getting materials and parts, positioning work area, and setting parameters as needed to perform tasks.
• Perform repetitive tasks to assemble parts, including but not limited to, connecting parts, loading and unloading equipment, attaching labels, and packing parts.
• Operate and visually monitor basic equipment to assemble parts along with verifying tolerances and product specifications. Test and calibrate parts.
• Identify units that fail quality tests or tolerance levels and notify proper personnel as required.
• Perform 1st-piece and in-process inspections
• Comply with all work instructions, safety policies, and standards of conduct.
• Performs other duties as assigned including assisting co-workers as needed and working in other departments depending on production demands.
