Introduction

Our client is a hospital offering both general practice and urgent care services, currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This AAHA-accredited clinic serves dogs, cats, and some pocket pets, and combines personalized care with the innovation and efficiency of a multi-doctor, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota

The hospital is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing flexible scheduling options to accommodate different lifestyles. Current veterinarians enjoy schedules such as three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with flexibility for full-time or part-time arrangements. There are no overnight shifts required, and after-hours care is referred to nearby 24-hour hospitals.

Role Description And Responsibilities

The Associate Veterinarian will provide a range of services including wellness exams, preventative care, urgent care, and emergency case management. Daily duties may involve handling a diverse caseload, from routine visits to urgent cases like hemoabdomens. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available to support early career development and long-term success.

Practice Details

This AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with diagnostic tools such as radiology, ultrasound, and EKG. It supports a hybrid model of care that accommodates both scheduled appointments and urgent walk-ins. While overnight hospitalization is not offered, the hospital works in conjunction with 24-hour referral centers to ensure seamless patient care. The culture encourages teamwork, advanced medicine, and continuous professional growth.

Team

The team includes two DVMs and 12 support staff members. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, emphasizing strong communication, mutual respect, and ongoing learning. • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
