Job Description

Introduction

Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital seeking a motivated Veterinarian to step into a leadership role within their small animal general practice. This position offers the opportunity to guide clinical direction, enhance team development, and help shape the strategic vision of the hospital, all within a compassionate, community-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This schedule supports a healthy work-life balance and allows for flexibility in meeting the needs of both patients and staff. The position is offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description And Responsibilities

This leadership role includes all typical GP duties and responsibilities, such as wellness exams, vaccinations, microchip implantation, routine surgical procedures including spays, neuters, and mass removals, and care for patients at all life stages. The successful candidate will work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to foster clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and a collaborative team culture. The position is open to experienced veterinarians who are enthusiastic about mentoring, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The hospital provides a wide range of general veterinary services supported by in-house diagnostics and laboratory capabilities.
