Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to join a virtual primary care practice with in-person care in Charlotte, NC. The clinician will work 32 hours per week on a rotating basis, split between 60% Virtual Primary Care and 40% Extended Care.

The role supports both virtual and clinic-based patient care, with patients seen in Charlotte and care extended to NC, SC, GA, AL, IL, and WI. Clinic hours run 8am–8pm, seven days a week on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Pediatrician with active licensure.
• 3+ years of clinical pediatric experience.
• Experience delivering care via virtual platforms and in-person visits.
• Ability to manage chronic diseases and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric care for patients in Charlotte, NC, both in-office and via virtual visits.
• Coordinate care across Extended Care and Virtual Primary Care teams.
• Participate in rotating shifts and maintain clinic hours from 8am to 8pm.

Job description

• Virtual Primary Care practice combined with in person care in Charlotte NC
• Employment is shift-based, with each clinician working 32 hours per week on a rotating basis.
• 60% VPC and 40% Extended Care
• Clinic Hours 8am-8pm Mon-Sun
• Shifts: Weekend Shifts – Saturday and Sunday 8-8 in-person and then 8 hours virtually either on Friday or Monday
• Call: 1 week every 6-8 weeks (phone back up for Nocturnist support)
• Clinical assistance via virtual medical assistants and care coordination support via referral coordinators
• Patients can schedule directly with their physician, preserving the trusted physician-patient relationship found in traditional practices
• Nutrition counseling, Parent education, Virtual house calls, Chronic disease management, Lactation support, and Behavioral health consultation are services offered by the virtual primary care practice
• In person care provided through Extended Care Clinic offering full primary care services

Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrician
• At least 3 years of practice experience
• Patients seen in person in Charlotte, NC office
• Our virtual pediatricians will care for patients in NC, SC, GA, AL, IL, and WI.
