Job summary

Meritus Medical Center Laboratory in Hagerstown, MD is seeking two full-time General Pathologists with AP/CP board certification. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates must obtain Maryland licensure. Residency or fellowship training is welcomed; additional fellowship is a plus.

• Board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) or board-eligible candidates.
• Requires Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Open to experienced pathologists or current residents/fellows; additional fellowship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join a hospital-based group of pathologists in a busy laboratory.
• Oversee clinical pathology operations with support from medical director.
• Provide frozen section assessments, grossing oversight, and general pathology consultations.
• No grossing or autopsy duties; no Pap smears or bone marrow interpretation required.
• Share weeknight and weekend on-call; most calls from home.
