Parkway Chevrolet is seeking a skilled General Painter to perform interior and exterior painting and finishing work across dealership buildings and related facilities. You will be responsible for surface preparation, applying paint and protective coatings, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance throughout our properties.

The role requires proven painting experience on commercial projects, with preference for candidates who can handle both interior and exterior work and who can work

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting on commercial or building projects.
• Experience with interior and exterior painting preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to work on lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and coverings.
• Mix and match paint colors to meet project requirements.
• Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks, holes, or damaged drywall.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
• Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality and appearance standards.
