Job summary

South Texas Health System in Edinburg, TX seeks a full-time, Board-Certified/Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a growing private practice. Immediate, high-volume caseload with a competitive compensation package and relocation/signing bonus are offered.

Responsibilities include broad general orthopedics, trauma, fractures, and joint reconstruction across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Collaboration with a strong team and potential call sharing are available.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery by ABOS or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency; fellowship training welcomed but not required for this generalist role
  • Active Texas medical license or eligible to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings including trauma/fracture management and joint reconstruction
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs and administrative staff
  • Option to participate in shared call schedule to ensure continuity of patient care

A premier, highly successful private practice in Edinburg, Texas, is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon to join their growing team. Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence: Clinical Excellence: Provide comprehensive orthopedic care—including general orthopedics, trauma, fracture management, and joint reconstruction—across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with a skilled team of physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and robust administrative support staff.
  • Call Management: Option to participate in the shared call schedule to ensure seamless, continuous patient care.

Qualifications
