Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Edinburg, TX seeks a board-certified/eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a private practice with an immediate high-volume patient base.

This full-time, permanent role offers standard clinical and surgical hours and an option for call on a shared schedule. Compensation is highly competitive with productivity incentives, plus a signing bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).
• Completed an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency; fellowship training is welcomed but not required.
• Active Texas medical license or eligible to obtain one.
• Spanish language skills are a valuable asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs and administrative staff.
• Participate in a shared call schedule as desired to ensure continuous patient access.
