Job summary

vTech Solution seeks a Registered Nurse for the General Operating Room (OR) to deliver skilled perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical setting in Ohio. You will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes across procedures.

You will participate in a rotating call schedule (weekends and holidays possible) and maintain sterile technique while adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio and at least 3 years of recent OR experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR within perioperative care.
• Strong clinical perioperative nursing skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the general OR.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment and sterile field.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after surgery.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
