Job summary

On-Board Companies is seeking a Packaging Operator for our Assonet, MA facility. The role supports packaging operations from small containers to totes and requires operating dryers, blending equipment, and material movement tools like pallet jacks and forklifts.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, the ability to pass a drug screen, and demonstrates mechanical and computer aptitude. Lifting 30–50 lbs and forklift exposure are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform package operations of small containers to tote quantities of finished products.

• Comply with safety guidelines, SOPs and EH&S practices.
• Identify and implement EH&S improvements with the team.

Compensation: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour

The Role and Responsibilities:

Packaging Operators at the facility play an important role in the success of the organization. These are very visible and impactful positions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Perform package operations of small containers to tote quantities of finished products.
• Operate dryers and blending equipment.
• Performs material movement operations using pallet jacks and fork truck.
• Completion of batch packets and packaging packets for finished goods.
• Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines, SOP's, and best practices.
• Assists the team or work group in identifying improvement opportunities in area of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and implements improved EH&S practices and procedures
